Hey,
Quiet day. Leenie's intake - fluids & solids - continues to be good. So good that she refused to weigh in this morning, as promised, b/c she was eating (& talking snippily with food in her mouth). She really seems to be getting better. The mass on her left scapula is now GONE. Very pleased about that.
She rested, read & got her room in order while I had STEELERS' gold highlights put in my hair. Quiet evening, making possible/changeable plans for the weekend visit of Kath & the twins. Emotions are running high - hell, what isn't these days - but I trust the rewards will be commensurate. . .

Dear Eileen and Lorane,
It is so encouraging to be getting all this uplifting news. Just the fact that that clavicular mass is totally GONE is a miracle in itself. I am not really clear on where Eileen is with the chemo treatments. Has she had two or three????
And, how about those STEELERS????? I think everyone is rooting for them...even BROWNS fans. It sure would be something to look forward to if they are in the SUPER BOWL!!!!!! I hope you all enjoy Kathleen and the twins visit. It must seem like a revolving guest door at 828 Linbay. Thanks for all the updates. Have a great day. Eileen...you are a fighter and a surviver...you WILL beat this!!!!! Love, Marge
I hope the ravens win, then have a plane crash on the way home. that way neither team wins. GO BROWNS!!!!!!!
Speaking of the Steelers, I just sent Eileen her "Steelers" necklace.
Dear Eileen,
I also sent your Obama t-shirt. It is going "priority" mail so you will have it by inauguration day. I remember the day you got that.
While we were packing up your apartment I sorted some personal things I thought you might enjoy. Let me know when they arrive.
Blessings !!

My eyes are bleeding from that font color. Go Browns!!
Brian,
I couldn't agree with you more . :-)
I thought my eyes were just old but that can't be the reason you have bleeding eyes.

BDH - From Doug's Eyes Only...
I've been with you on the font until just discovering that you can click and drag and "voilla" it's in blue!
Tim H - Say, were those Ravens in the Hudson?
Dearest Eileen,
We all love you and want to hear from you.
Could you send us some sort of blog letting us all know how YOU feel?
So far, we all have just been telling you how WE feel.
Blessings !!

Marge, you are soooo smart......I just tried the "click and drag" and could read the blog!!! Thank you!
And Linda, I agree w/you about wanting Eileen to tell us how SHE is feeling....
We all love you Eileen!!! I'm sure you are enjoying your company this weekend! Lots of love, Charlene
Charlene,
Thanks for the support.
Blessings !!
Eileen,
Just thinking about you again as always. I was anxiously awaiting an update, but it seems you are hanging in there! No news is good news, right? I finally got to see a few of your boys last night and it was so wonderful to catch up with them! We all love you so much Eileen and are really praying you beat this nasty disease! Sending you big hugs and kisses...even though those dreaded Steelers got the big W today. I don't know how you can still root for them!!
Big hugs!
Love,
Regan
Say Regan, aren't you the one who is a UAL f/a based in BOS? Eileen told me about you!! Are you still flying?
I'm on the Vol. Furlough....Wish we could all meet....I hope this is a great week for E. Love, Charlene
Charlene, i figured that was you! After Eileen told me about you years ago, I remember trying to touch base! If you ever find yourself travelling to Boston, please let me know. I haven't been out to LA in over a year and a half. Virginia Beach is a helluva lot warmer than here right now!! Big squeezes Eileen!
XOXO
